This original 11” × 14” mixed-media piece features Spider-Gwen partially hidden behind her crossed arms, with those eyes locked straight on you. I wanted the pose to feel guarded, confident, and just a little confrontational.
Loose pink and magenta watercolor washes surround the figure while the web disappears into the background. Cool blues and purples run through the costume against the warmer skin tones and sharp black linework.
